Sunday meal preparation is all the rage. Busy moms and body building dads are hitting the kitchen the day before Monday to prep a week’s worth of meals.
The benefits are plentiful – from cost savings (buying ingredients in bulk, eating out less), having more portion control, or better utilizing time during the weekdays by staying out of the kitchen.
But as a south Asian, many of us are used to our typical meals with chapatis or pulao. So how does one reap the benefits of meal prep while satisfying our desi taste buds?
Here are a few healthy desi meal prep recipes you can prepare in bulk on your day off! Just pair it with a side of brown basmati rice or quinoa and portion them in individual containers for each meal of the day and you’re set!
(Just remember to adjust the ingredients according to the number of servings you intend to make for the week)
